WHERE�AS, oil the 27"' day of" July„ 2010, -after considering the proposed budget together with the
testimony and information received at the public hearings, the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention
District (the "District ") adopted its 2010 -1 1 budget; and
WHEREAS, oil the 26"' day of August, 2010, the City Council, atler holding as public hearing to
consider the budget adopted by the Board of Directors ofthe District (the "Board"'), approved the District's
2010-11 fiscal year budget; and
WHEREAS, on the 14"' day 0HUne, 2011, the Board approved ail artiendment to the Districts ?010-
11 fiscal year budget in order to reprogram FIVI", HUNDRIED S11_-.'VENTY-SlX AND NO/] 00 DOLLARS
($576.00) fi-orn Untloreseen.fNew Initiatives to Special Services for expenses associated r vith the continuation
election; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 363,205(f) cif` the Texas Local Government Code together with tile
procedures enacted by the Board l'or adopting a budget, the City Council must approve the amendment in
order for the same to be in eff'ect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, after considering the submitted budget
aniendment believes that the amendment approved by the Board is consistent with the interest of the,
residents ofthe District; NOW TI 11"1tEFORE,

Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby approvcs, the
amendment to the 2010-11 fiscal year budget of the Board of the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention
District, which amendment is attached hereto as Ulxhibit "A" and incorporated herein 1'or all intents and
purposes [or the District's 2010-11 fiscal year.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately From a its after its passage by tile City
Council of the City of` Baytown.'
