AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, IN AN AMOUNTNOT TO
EXCEED TWENTY -EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TWENTY -THREE AND
NO /100 DOLLARS ($28.923.00); AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE

13E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown. Texas. hereby renews the Service
Agreement with Connecticut General Life Insurance Company for Third Party Administrator Services for the
calendar year of January 1, 2011. through December 31. 2011.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown authorizes payment to Connecticut
General Life Insurance Company in an amount not to exceed TWENTY - EIGHT THOUSAND NINE
HUNDRED "I'WENTY -THREE AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($28,923.00), pursuant to the agreement referenced
in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3: That the City Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve any change
order involving a decrease or an increase in costs of TWENTY -FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/] 00 DOLLARS
($25,000.00) or less: however. the original contract price may not be increased by more than twenty-five
percent (25 %) or decreased by more than twenty -five percent (25 %) without the consent of the contractor to
