ORDINANCE NO. 10,364
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
ADDING 16.1545 ACRES OF LAND IN THE NATHANIEL LYNCH SURVEY, A-44,
HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. TO COUNCIL. DISTRICT NO. 3: REPEALING
ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, Section 17(1)of the Charter of the City of Baytown provides that the City Council shall
redistrict the City if the growth of the City justifies: and
WHEREAS. it is necessary to include the newly annexed territory described herein in a Council
District: NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: Council District No.3 is hereby redistricted by the addition of certain property which
is described on the attached Exhibit "A."
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are
hereby repealed;provided however,that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all
other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject
matter covered by this ordinance.
Section 3: If any provisions,section,exception,subsection,paragraph.sentence,clause or phrase
of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances,shall for any reason be held
unconstitutional,void or invalid.such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this
ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10)days from its passage by the
City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance
to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after
passage of this ordinance.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of

Being 16.1545 acres of land situated in the Nathaniel Lynch Survey, Abstract No. 44,
Harris County, Texas, and being all of that certain called 12.494 acre tract of land as
conveyed to Allen E. Russell by deed recorded under Harris County Clerk's File No.
F270656, dated May 2, 1977, and being all of that certain called 3.7407 acre tract of
land as conveyed to Allen E. Russell, by deed as recorded under Harris County Clerk's
File No. G387613, dated January 4, 1980. Said 16.1545 acre tract being more fully
described by metes and bounds as follows:
All bearings referenced herein are based on the recorded deed for the said
12.494 acre tract of land.
BEGINNING at a 1/2 inch iron rod found for the southeasterly boundary corner of the
said 3.7407 acre tract and the southwesterly boundary corner of a called 2.72 acre tract
of land as conveyed to Gene Richardson, by deed recorded under Harris County,
Clerk's File No. C751170, dated April 19, 1968, said iron rod being located in the
northerly fIg ht-of-way line of-Decker Drive based.on.a called width of 322_feet;
THENCE North 64°5l'53" West. along the northerly right-of-way line of said Decker
Drive, for a distance of 14.36 feet. to a 5/8 inch iron rod with plastic cap yet for corner,
said iron rod being the beginning-of a curve to the right;
THENCE continuing along the northerly right-of-way line of said Decker Drive and with
said curve to the right having a radius of 1,637.02 feet, passing at an arc distance of
37.70 feet, a 1/2 inch iron rod marking the common southerly boundary corner between
the said 12.454 acre tract and the said 3.7407 acre tract, and continuing on for a delta
angle of 26*09'10", an arc length of 747.22 and a chord bearing and distance of North
51°30'32"West — 740.75 feet, to a 5/8 inch iron rod with plastic cap set for corner, said
iron rod being the beginning of a compound curve to the right;
THENCE with said compound curve to the right, having a radius of 200.00 feet, delta
angle of 105°12'03", an arc length of 367.22 feet and a chord bearing and distance of
North 14`09'58" East— 317.77 feet, to a 5/8 inch iron rod found for corner, said iron rod
being situated in the southerly right-of-way line of Interstate 10, based on a width of 330
feet at the property;
THENCE North 66046'00" East, along the southerly right-of-way line of said Interstate
10, for a distance of 571.10 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod with plastic cap set for corner-,
• THENCE South 89°38'00" East, continuing along the right-of-way of said Interstate 10,
for a distance of 125.96 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod with plastic cap set for corner, said
iron rod being situated in the original centerline of Spring Gully;

THENCE South 53024'20" East. for a distance of 99.88 feet to a 2 inch iron pipe found
for corner, said iron pipe-being the northwesterly boundary corner of the said 3.7407
acre tract of land;
THENCE South 45°07'00" East, for a distance of 166.19 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod with

that certain called 4.543 acre tract of land as conveyed to Gene Richardson, by deed
recorded under Harris County, Clerk's File No. C704679. dated May 3, 1968,
THENCE South 17"34'17" West, along the Gene Richardson tracts of land, passing at a
distance of 361.47 feet a 5/8 inch iron rod with plastic cap found for the common
westerly boundary corner be�.,veen the said 4.543 acre tract and the said 2.72 acre tract,
continuing for a total distance of 516.78 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and
containing within these calls 703,691 square feet or 16.1545 acres of land.
