• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEND FUNDS FROM GENERATED
PROGRAM INCOME OF THE HARRIS COUNTY ORGANIZED CRIME AND
NARCOTICS TASK FORCE FOR SALARY REIMBURSEMENT AND NON -
SALARY OPERATING EXPENSES TO WIND UP THE AFFAIRS OF THE TASK
FORCE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RELEASE TO
PARTICIPATING GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES A PORTION OF THE DONATED
ASSETS OF THE TASK FORCE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section l: That contingent upon the approval of the Criminal Justice Division of the
Governor's Office, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the City Manager
to expend up to SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO/] 00 DOLLARS ($600,000.00) from generated
program income of the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force for salary
reimbursement projected for four months commencing on June 1, 2005.
Section 2: That contingent. _upon the approval of the Criminal Justice Division of the
Governor's Office, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the City Manager
to expend up to ONE HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($140,000.00) from
generated program income of the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force for non -
salary operating expenses.
Section 3: That contingent upon the approval of the Criminal Justice Division of the
Governor's Office, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the City Manager
to release a portion of the donated assets of the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force
valued up to SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($600,000.00) to participating
governmental entities.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
