Ordinance No. 9,991. If t ORDINANCE NO. 9991 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND AND NO 1100 DOLLARS ($120,000.00) AS THE AMOUNT OF THE BOND OR OTHER FORM OF SECURITY NECESSARY FOR THE RELOCATION OF THE PIPELINE ASSOCIATED WITH PERMIT NO. P- 2002 -001 OWNED BY BUCKEYE GULF COAST PIPE LINES, L.P.; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, Buckeye Gulf Coast Pipe Lines, L.P., (the "Permittee ") desires to relocate its pipeline associated with Permit No. P- 2002 -001 to eliminate a conflict with a sanitary sewer line; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 34 -233 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Baytown, Texas, the City Council, upon the recommendation of the City Engineer, is required to prescribe the amount of the bond or other form of security to be provided by Permittee to protect the City from any loss, damage or injury that may result from Permittee's operations or its construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, extension or laying of the pipeline under its permit; and WHEREAS, based upon the work to be performed, the Director of Engineering recommends the amount of the bond or other form of security be ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND AND NO/ 100 DOLLARS ($120,000.00), which is the value of the relocation project; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds such recommendation reasonable for the proposed relocation of the above - referenced pipeline; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section I: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby establishes ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND AND NO/] 00 DOLLARS ($120,000.00) as the amount of the bond or other form of security necessary for the relocation of the pipeline associated with Permit No. P -2002- 001 owned by Buckeye Gulf Coast Pipe Lines, L.P. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
