® AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, RESTATING THE BOUNDARIES OF REINVESTMENT ZONE
NUMBER ONE, CITY OF BAYTOWN; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, established Reinvestment
Zone Number One, City of Baytown (the "Zone ") for tax increment financing purposes pursuant
to Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code on the 9`" day of August, 2001 via Ordinance No. 9197;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code, the City of Baytown (the
"City ") enlarged the Zone upon properly submitted petitions to include the following properties:
➢ Approximately 474 acres of land lying in the G.C. Davis Survey, Abstract No. 1472,
W.C.R.R. Co. Survey, Abstract No. 899 and the T. Patchings Survey, Abstract No.
620, which was included via Ordinance No. 9275 on the 201h day of November 2001;
and
➢ Approximately 45 acres of land lying adjacent to John Martin Road, which was
included via Ordinance No. 9708, passed on the 22 "d day of January, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the addition of the above- referenced properties to the Zone conforms to and
is consistent with all requirements of Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code; and
WHEREAS, the metes and bounds descriptions describing the areas to be included in the
Zone contained some technical deficiencies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct the technical deficiencies by declaring
the total boundaries of the Zone adopted and approved by the City Council; NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby finds and
declares that the facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this ordinance are true and
correct and are adopted as part of this ordinance for all purposes.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby restates the
boundaries of Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of Baytown to include the area described in
Exhibit "A" and defined hereinabove as the Property.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown.

Being approximately 650 Acres of land, more or less, lying in the G.C. DAVIS Survey, Abstract No.
1472, W.C.R.R. Co. Survey, Abstract No. 899, and the T. PATCHING Survey, Abstract No. 620, near
Baytown, in Harris County, Texas said 650 Acres is more particularly described by metes and bounds as
