Ordinance No. 9,663ORDINANCE NO. 9663 • AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF TWENTY -SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY -SIX AND 02/100 DOLLARS ($26,886.02) FROM RETAINAGE TO FIREMEN CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., AND ITS SUBCONTRACTORS FOR THE BAYTOWN MUNICIPAL COURT AND JAIL FACILITY PROJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. ****************************************************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes payment to Firemen Construction Co., Inc., and its subcontractors in an amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND 02/100 DOLLARS ($15,500.02). TOTAL $15,500.02 Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes payment to Firemen Construction Co., Inc., and its subcontractor(s) in an amount of ELEVEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY -SIX AND 00 /100 DOLLARS ($11,386.00) for the provision and installation of the lights in the courtroom upon completion and acceptance of such work by the City Engineer. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
