A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
GRANTING THE PETITION OF CHARLES W. CALDWELL FOR THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 3.01 ACRES, LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 557.88 FEET EAST OF THOMPSON ROAD, ADDRESSED AS
6610 THOMPSON ROAD, AND SITUATED IN THE WILLIAM HILBUS SURVEY,
ABSTRACT NO. 336 AND BEING OUT OF AND A PART OF LOT 21 OF THE
ELENA FRUIT AND COTTON FARMS, UNIT "D", HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS;
AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A SERVICE PLAN; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby grants the petition
of Charles W. Caldwell for the proposed annexation of approximately 3.01 acres, located
approximately 557.88 feet east of Thompson Road, addressed as 6610 Thompson Road, and situated in
the William Hilbus Survey, Abstract No. 336 and being out of and a part of lot 21 of the Elena Fruit and
Cotton Farms, Unit "D", Harris County, Texas. Said petition is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and
directs the Planning and Development Services Department to prepare a service plan for the property
identified in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.

Annexation Petition Checklist
The following list of submittal requirements shall be used by the applicant to prepare a complete
annexation petition. The City shall also use the checklist to verify the completeness of the application at
the time it is submitted Applicants are responsible for submitting complete applications. Incomplete
applications will be rejected and returned to the applicant.
_ Universal Development Application — complete with all required signatures and notarized.
Application Fee — $300.00.
✓ Petition Requesting Annexation — complete with all required signatures and notarized.
'Survey Map — complete with narrative metes and bounds description of property and sealed by a
Registered Professional Surveyor (R.P.L.S.).
-L Authorization:
Ownership — a recorded deed or other recorded instrument verifying ownership.
Agent Information — if you are an agent and not the property owner, then you shall submit
a notarized statement from the owner naming you as agent for this application.
Signatory Authorization — if the property is owned by any entity or corporation and not
an individual, please submit Articles of Incorporation or other documentation verifying
signatory authorization.
-LZoning Amendment Application — a complete Zoning Amendment Application must be
submitted at the same time as this annexation petition. This will place the property in a zoning
district once annexed into the City. The annexation and zoning amendment process will occur
concurrently.
