® AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE
PROPOSED DISANNEXATION OF THE PROPERTY OCCUPIED BY FIRST
CHEMICAL COMPANY, L.P., WHICH PROPERTY WAS PREVIOUSLY ANNEXED
VIA ORDINANCE NO. 2516; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: On the 13th day of December, 2001, at 6:45 o'clock p.m. and at 6:50 o'clock p.m.,
in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold public
hearings giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed disannexation by the
City of Baytown, Texas, of the property occupied by First Chemical Company, L. P., which property was
previously annexed via Ordinance No. 2516 and is further described in Exhibit "A," which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause
notice of each public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City
and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the
date of each public hearing, all in accordance with Texas Local Government Code and the Charter of the
City of Baytown.
Section 3: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is authorized and directed to cause notice
of each public hearing to be posted on the City's Internet website on or after the twentieth (20th) day but
before the tenth (10th) day before the date of the hearing. Such posting shall remain until the date of each
hearing.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.

Sidney S. McClendon III, Trustee by deed dated March 10, 1970 and recorded in Volume
313 at Page 340 of the Deed Records of Chambers County, Texas.
This.4.178 acre tract of land is more particularly described byjnetes and bounds as

recorded in Volume 352 at Page 148 of the Deed Records of Chambers County, Texas,
having a State Plane Coordinate System Value of X - 3,297,676.49 and y - 725,015.83.
THENCE South 51 deg 05 min 37 sec West across said 45.837 acres a distance of 1084.80
feet to.a 1/2 inch iron rod set for the Northwest corner of this tract of land, said
corner being the PLACE OF BEGINNING. This corner has a State Plane Coordinate System
Value of X equal 3,296,832.41 and Y equal 724,334.59, and a Plant Coordinate Value of
