ORDINANCE NO. 9020
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
CANCELING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO
THE RULES GOVERNING PLATS AND SUBDIVISIONS OF LAND WITHIN THE
CITY OF BAYTOWN AND ITS EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION
SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 26, 2000, AT 6:55 P.M.; SETTING A DATE, TIME
AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO
THE RULES GOVERNING PLATS AND SUBDIVISIONS OF LAND WITHIN THE
CITY OF BAYTOWN AND ITS EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the public hearing on the proposed amendments to the rules governing plats
and subdivisions of land within the City of Baytown and its extraterritorial jurisdiction scheduled for the
26t1i day of October, 2000, at 6:55 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers of the City of Baytown, 2401
Market Street, Baytown, Texas, is hereby canceled.
Section 2: On the 14 "' day of December, 2000, at 6:45 p.m. in the City Hall Council
Chambers of the City of Baytown, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold a
public hearing giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed amendments
to the rules governing plats and subdivisions of land within the City of Baytown and its extraterritorial
jurisdiction.
Section 3: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause
notice of each public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City
and in the above - described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the
date of the public hearing.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 26"' day of October, 2000.
