Ordinance No. 9,00420000928 -3 ORDINANCE NO. 9004 ® AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 126 "SUBDIVISIONS" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO ALLOW THE USE OF MOUNTABLE CURBS IN RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISIONS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: On the 26th day of October, 2000, at 7:00 p.m., at the City Hall of the City of Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed amendment to Chapter 126 "Subdivisions" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown, Texas, to allow the use of mountable curbs in residential subdivisions. Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City of Baytown not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
