Ordinance No. 8,8812 ,00i)i1,.�13 -5 ORDINANCE NO. 8881 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ARTICLE IV "CURFEW FOR MINORS," CHAPTER 66 "OFFENSES" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, BAYTOWN, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE. CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICES OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: On the 27" day of April, 2000, at 6:35 p.m. and at 6:40 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold public hearings giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the effect in the community of the curfew ordinance for minors, Article IV "Curfew for Minors," Chapter 66 "Offenses" of the Code of Ordinances, Baytown, Texas, and on problems the ordinance was intended to remedy. Section 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the public hearings to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City of Baytown not less than seven (7) days prior to the date of the public hearings. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
