ORDINANCE NO. 8461
® AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF PROPERTY BY
BAYTOWN HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION FOR THE BAYTOWN
NATURE CENTER; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE SAID
DEDICATION WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, formally accepts the
dedication of certain property from Baytown Housing Finance Corporation, the owner of the
property, as described in Exhibit "A," and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file the dedication deed with the County
Clerk of Harris County, Texas.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City
of Baytown this the 24" day of November, 1998.

THAT GRANTOR, BAYTOWN HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION, owner of the
below described real property, by these presents does DONATE, DEDICATE, GRANT, and
CONVEY unto the GRANTEE, CITY OF BAYTOWN, a municipal corporation, of the
Counties of Harris and Chambers and the State of Texas, all of the following described real
property located in Harris County, Texas (the "Property "):
Lot 6, Block XK, Brownwood Subdivision, City of Baytown, Texas, Harris County, Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above - described premises, together with all and singular the
rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging to the Property, unto the said CITY OF
BAYTOWN, its successors and assigns forever, in fee simple absolute.
GRANTORS do hereby bind themselves, their heirs, personal representatives, successors,
and assigns to WARRANT and FOREVER DEFEND, the Property unto the said CITY OF
BAYTOWN, its successors and assigns, against every person whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to
claim the Property or any part thereof.
This conveyance is made and accepted subject to all restrictions, reservations, covenants,
conditions, rights -of -way, and easements of record, enforceable and binding on GRANTORS on this
date, if any, affecting the above- described property.
