® AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING NOMINATING THE PROPOSED HOTEL AT BAYLAND PARK AS
AN ENTERPRISE ZONE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:

Section 1: On the I Ith day of September, 1997, at 6:40 o'clock p.m., in the John Tucker
Hall of Lee College, 200 Lee Drive, Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing
giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the nomination of the proposed hotel
at Bayland Park as an Enterprise Zone Project.
Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to
cause notice of the public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation
in the City not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the public
hearing, all in accordance with Texas Local Government Code Annotated § 43.052.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City
of Baytown this the 28'h day of August, 1997.
