Ordinance No. 7,981970522 -2 ORDINANCE NO. 7981 ® AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR THE EXCHANGE OF ASH STREET FOR LOTS SIX (6) AND SEVEN (7), BLOCK SIX (6) OF CASEY ADDITION, BAYTOWN, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, Grace S. Kelley, has built a house on property which is platted as Ash Street; and WHEREAS, Lots Six (6) and Seven (7), Block Six (6) of Casey Addition is contiguous to and contains the same acreage as Ash Street; and WHEREAS, the City has yet to make any improvements to Ash Street; therefore, the exchange of the properties will not be detrimental to the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, the exchange of properties is necessary to accurately reflect the existing conditions in the Casey Addition; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the mayor of the City of Baytown to execute a Quitclaim Deed, attached hereto as Exhibit "A," for the exchange of the property described in the Warranty Deed, attached hereto as Exhibit "B." Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
