NO. 7929 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC ® HEARING ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SECTION 17 -24 "CURFEW HOURS FOR MINORS" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: On the 10`h day of April, 1997, at 6:35 p.m. in the John Tucker Hall at Lee College, 200 Lee Drive, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the effect in the community of the curfew ordinance for minors, Section 17 -24 of the Code of Ordinances, and on problems the ordinance was intended to remedy. Section 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City of Baytown not less than seven (7) days prior to the date of the public hearing. Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
