Ordinance No. 7,124941013 -2 ORDINANCE NO. 7124 • AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 WITH BELLINGHAM MARINE FOR THE BAYLAND PARK MARINA FLOATING DOCK SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, THE SUM OF FORTY -SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY -THREE AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($47,993.00); MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby authorize Change Order No. 3 with Bellingham Marine for the Bayland Park Marina Floating Dock System. A copy of said change order is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby authorizes the payment of FORTY -SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY -THREE AND N01100 DOLLARS ($47,993.00) to Bellingham Marine for Change Order No. 3 for the Bayland Park Marina Floating Dock System. Section 3: That pursuant to the provisions of Texas Local Government Code Annotated S 252.048, the City Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve any change order involving a decrease or an increase in costs of FIFTEEN THOUSAND AND N01100 DOLLARS ($15,000.00) or less, subject to the provision that the original contract price may not be increased by more than twenty -five (25 %) or decreased by more than twenty -five (25 %) percent without the consent of the contractor to such decrease. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown. BOX 424 BAYTOWN, TX 77522 -0424 (713) 422 -8281 FAX (713) 420 -6586 CITY OF BAYTOWN BAYLAND PARK MARINA FLOATING DOCK SYSTEM Change Order No. 3 October 4, 1994 The following changes are added to the Bayland Park Marina Floating Dock System contract: 1. The main TV cable trunkline will terminate at a PVC riser at the bulkhead. This will eventually be connected up to a main terminal box by TCI Cable. 2. The trunkline will run through the center chase on the main walk. The tributary lines (at each pier) will run under the walers and come up to subterminal boxes to be supplied and installed by TCI Cable. These boxes will have a capacity of from four to eight services. The individual lines will then be pulled from these boxes and hooked up to each slip and labeled accordingly. 3. The 100 pair phone line will terminate at a PVC riser at the bulkhead. GTE will eventually connect this main line to its terminal. 4. The phone lines will run through conduit installed in the center 4" chaseway on the main walk floats. 5. Existing electrical pull boxes will be utilized by properly shielding the low voltage wire. One 2 -pair cable will be connected to each outlet for service to the slip. All proper labeling is included.
