Ordinance No. 7,040940714 -11 ORDINANCE NO. 7040 • AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THAT THE PAYMENT OF TAXES BY RANDALLS CENTER BAYTOWN ON ACCOUNT NUMBER 116 - 594 -000 -0001 FOR THE TAX YEAR 1993 WAS EXCESSIVE; APPROVING A REFUND OF THE OVERPAYMENT OF ONE THOUSAND SEVENTEEN AND 10 /100 DOLLARS ($1,017.10); AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, Randalls Center - Baytown has applied for a refund of an overpayment of taxes on account number 116- 594 -000 -0001 for the tax year 1993 alleging a substantial error in the appraisal records; and WHEREAS, the Appraisal Review Board for the Harris County Appraisal District has found that the appraisal records for account number 116- 594 - 000 -0001 were incorrect and has corrected the records to conform them to the requirements of law; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, has determined that the payment of taxes on account number 116- 594 -000 -0001 for the tax year 1993 by Randalls Center - Baytown was excessive in the amount of ONE THOUSAND SEVENTEEN AND 10 /100 DOLLARS ($1,017.10); NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council hereby approves and authorizes payment of ONE THOUSAND SEVENTEEN AND 10 /100 DOLLARS ($1,017.10) to Randalls Center - Baytown as a refund of the excessive payment of taxes on account number 116- 594 - 000 -0001 for the tax year 1993. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
