Ordinance No. 6,839931014 -22 • AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY -FOUR THOUSAND SEVENTY -FOUR AND 36/100 DOLLARS ($54,074.36); AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, an audit by the Criminal Justice Division of the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force was conducted and revealed that the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force should increase its reimbursement to the Criminal Justice Division for over - drawdown of federal funds; and WHEREAS, the audit has determined that additional reimbursements should be made for match requirements and confidential expenditures; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force is hereby authorized to reimburse the Criminal Justice Division the amount of FORTY -EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY -FIVE AND 29/100 DOLLARS ($48,575.29) for over - drawdown of federal funds . Section 2: That the Harris County Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force is hereby authorized to reimburse the Criminal Justice Division the amount of FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETY -NINE AND 07/100 DOLLARS ($5,499.07) for match requirements and confidential expenditures. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
