Dear Chief Russell:
Pursuant to our conversations Lee College is pleased to say
that we are able to begin the EMT classes the 11th of January,
1993 and complete around the middle of March, 1993.
The classes will be college credit courses EXXT 1710. They
will run 120 clock hours.
We will waive the Tuition and Lab Fees in accordance with the
State Law granting State Reimbursement for full -time city fire
fighters. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have
presented with the original proposal but we overlooked the
appropriate Higher Education Legislation 54.208 exemption.
We would like to remind you that each student will need a
letter stating full time employment verification on City of
Baytown letterhead in order to qualify for the State Funding.
Each student will need to register with Lee College according
to enrollment guidelines. We will need your confirmation by
December 1, 1992.
Following is an itemized proposal for your approval. Please
contact us if there are any further questions. Again, thank
you for allowing Lee College the opportunity to serve in your
training requirements.
Respectfully,
• Dean Wilks
