Ordinance No. 6,199920326 -11 ORDINANCE NO. 6199 • AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST TO CONTRACTS WITH JERRY LaCROIX AND THE BOOGIE REVIVAL BAND AND MAGIC MOMENTS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENTERTAINMENT AT THE CITY'S JULY 4TH CELEBRATION; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby approves a contract with Jerry LaCroix and The Boogie Revival Band and authorizes and directs the City Manager and City Clerk of the City of Baytown to execute and attest to said contract for professional entertainment at the City's July 4th celebration. A copy of said contract is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby approves a contract with Magic Moments and authorizes and directs the City Manager and City Clerk of the City of Baytown to execute and attest to said contract for professional entertainment at the City's July 4th celebration. A copy of said contract is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "B," and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 3: The City Council hereby authorizes payment of TWO THOUSAND AND NO 1100 ($2,000.00) DOLLARS to Jerry LaCroix and The Boogie Revival Band for professional entertainment at the City's July 4th celebration. Section 4: The City Council hereby authorizes payment of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND N01100 ($2,500.00) DOLLARS to Magic Moments for professional entertainment at the City's July 4th celebration. Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
