Ordinance No. 6,146920121 -22 ORDINANCE NO. 6146 • AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST TO A CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH RAYMOND DONNELLY; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWO AND N01100 ($2,402.00) DOLLARS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Baytown to execute and attest to a Contract for Professional Services with Raymond Donnelly. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown authorizes payment of the sum of TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWO AND N01100 ($2,402.00) DOLLARS, pursuant to the Agreement. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown. LL, City Clerk C4AitCrI�ORAMI REZ, ., City Attorney • C:1:83:1 CJ i 920121 -22a CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Whereas the City of Baytown, Texas is desirous of maintaining high standards and efficiency in the operation of its Municipal Court and related Judicial functions, and Whereas Raymond Donnelly has served as the Municipal Judge for the City of Baytown for the past fourteen years, and Whereas it would be beneficial for Raymond Donnelly to train, guide and otherwise familiarize the new Judges with the operations of the Municipal Court and the duties and responsibilities of the City Judge, Now Therefore; The City of Baytown (City), and Raymond Donnelly (Consultant) hereby agree as follows: Consultant shall provide trainin otherwise facilitate the transition and Alternate City Judge to the new basis during the month of February shall pay to Consultant the sum of Tw and No /100 Dollars ($2,402.00).
