Ordinance No. 6,004910926 -3 ORDINANCE NO. 6004 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, BY AMENDING SECTION 10 -3 "FEES "; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That Chapter 10, "Emergency Medical Service" of the Code of ordinances of the City of the City of Baytown, Texas, is hereby amended by amending Section 10 -3(a) "Fees" to read as follows: Sec. 10 -3(a) To partially defer the cost incurred by the City in providing emergency medical service, a basic fee of $150.00 is hereby established to be collected from the user of emergency medical service provided by the City. In addition thereto the following fees are hereby established to be collected as applicable: (1) Outside City Response (2) Direct Transport (3) Oxygen (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) $ 50.00 $ 3.00 per patient mile $ 15.00 Oxygen Delivery Device: Mask /Cannula EKG Monitor Endotracheal Tube and Intubation I.V. Start Pack I.V. Solution (9) Minor Bandage Pack Less than - 10 4x4 pads Less than - 3 Kerlix (10) Major Bandage Pack More than -- 10 4x4 pads More than - 3 Kerlix Trauma Dressings $ 5.00 $ 25.00 $ 25.00 $ 15.00 $ 10.00 $ 10.00 $ 35.00 910926 --3a Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 3: If any provisions, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council.
