Ordinance No. 5,672901011 -18 ORDINANCE NO. 5672 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CLARK FIRE EQUIPMENT, GLOVE COMPANY, SEA LEVEL SUPPLY, INC. AND TST SUPPLY, • INC. FOR THE ANNUAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY -FIVE AND 25/100 ($5,995.25) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the annual safety equipment contract to be received September 19, 1990; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 1990, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Clark Fire Equipment for Item Nos. 2, 3 and 5 of the annual safety equipment contract for the sum of THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY -NINE AND 25/100 ($3,859.25) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Glove Company for Item No. 6 of the annual safety equipment contract for the sum of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY AND N01100 ($1,550.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Sea Level Supply, Inc. for Item No. 4 of the annual safety equipment contract for the sum of TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY -ONE AND N01100 ($271.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 4: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of TST Supply, Inc. for Item No. 7 of the annual safety equipment contract for the sum of THREE HUNDRED FIFTEEN AND N01100 ($315.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
