Ordinance No. 5,614• Ll 900913 -2 ORDINANCE NO. 5614 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and approves the expenditure of funds for the purchase of property described in Exhibit "A" for park purposes, being the expansion of Allenbrook Park. Payment of NINETY -NINE THOUSAND AND N01100 ($99,000.00) DOLLARS to Baker III, Ltd. as the owner of record of this property is hereby authorized and approved. Section 2: City Council further authorizes and approves payment of up to THREE THOUSAND AND N01100 ($3,000.00) DOLLARS to Stewart Title Company for the purchase of a title policy covering the purchase of the property described in Exhibit "A." Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
