BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS-
Section 1: That Sectio ode of Ordinances,
City of Baytown, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 25�-I. Scope.
The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all
signs, as that term is defined herein, within the city
limits and the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the
City of Baytown®
Section 2: That the Code of Ordinances, City of Baytown,
Texas, is hereby amended by adding a subsection, to be numbered
251-2-4(f), which said section reads as follows:
Sec. 4. Sign administrator; enforcement.

a. The Chief Building Inspector of the City of
Baytown shall hear and render judgment on any
request for variance from the requirements of
this chapter only if such variance:
® The sign for which a variance is requested
is an on-premise sign;
4. There are no other signs on the same
premises that exceed the heighth
limitation of this chapter; and

Section 5: Any person who shall violate any provision of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two
Hundred and No/100 Dollars.

City Council of the City of Baytown, this the 22nd day of
February, 1990.
