Ordinance No. 5,351Published In: THE BAYTOWN SUN 890914 -8 Tuesday, September 19, 1989 Wednesday, September 20, 1989 ORDINANCE NO. 5351 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ART. VI, "ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND CHARGES," OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN BY AMENDING SECTION 2 -120, "PUBLIC RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS; FEE SCHEDULE FOR COPIES "; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That Section 2 -120 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: (a) Police accident reports $3.00 each (b) Municipal Court records, to include judgments and complaints $3.00 each (c) Minutes of the city council meetings and minutes of administrative boards or commissions of the city $0.25 per page ($1.00 minimum charge for each set of minutes) (d) Copies of resolutions, ordinances, and other legal documents and records $0.25 per page ($1.00 minimum charge for each resolution, ordinance or document (e) Certified copies of birth certificates $8.00 (f) Duplicate originals or certified copy of a release given by the City $25.00 (g) Certificate showing the amount of delinquent taxes, penalties and interest due the city on a property according to the city's current tax records $10.00 per certificate per property 890914 -8a Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 3: If any provisions, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days from its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after passage of this ordinance.
