Ordinance No. 5,336890824-9 ORDINANCE No. 5336 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HILL'S PLASTERING COMPANY FOR THE RESURFACING OF THE WALLS OF THE OFFICE BUILDING AT THE CENTRAL DISTRICT TREATMENT PLANT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF SEVEN THOUSAND NINETY -TWO AND N0 1100 ($7,092.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the resurfacing of the walls of the office building at the Central District Treatment Plant to be received August 17, 1989; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 1989, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Hill's Plastering Company for the resurfacing of the walls of the office building at the Central District Treatment Plant for the sum of SEVEN THOUSAND NINETY -TWO AND NO /100 ($7,092.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
