Ordinance No. 5,260890427 -8 ORDINANCE No. 5260 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DUNN EQUIPMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF AIR END ASSEMBLY FOR A 1981 INGERSOLL RAND AIR COMPRESSOR AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY -FIVE AND N01100 ($2,945.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the replacement of air end assembly for a 1981 Ingersoll Rand air compressor to be received April 17, 1989; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, 1989, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Dunn Equipment for the replacement of air end assembly for a 1981 Ingersoll Rand air compressor for the SUM of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY -FIVE AND N0 1100 ($2,945.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
