Ordinance No. 5,178890112 -9 ORDINANCE 5178 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND TO ATTEST TO A DEED TRANSFERRING PROPERTY ON PRICE STREET IN CONSIDERATION OF THE RECEIPT OF THE SALES PRICE OF ONE THOUSAND AND N01100 ($1,000.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, City property located at 2 Price Street was advertised for sale in the local newspaper pursuant to provisions of Section 73 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 1909; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the value of such property to be ONE THOUSAND AND N01100 ($1,000.00) DOLLARS; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Bay Area Rehabilitation Center for the purchase of City property located at 2 Price Street, being more fully described in Exhibit "A,° for ONE THOUSAND AND N01100 ($1,000.00) DOLLARS. Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and attest to a deed conveying said property to Bay Area Rehabilitation Center upon receipt of ONE THOUSAND AND NO/ 100 ($1,000.00) DOLLARS as the sales price of the property. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
