Ordinance No. 5,114ORDINANCE NO. 5114 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL COMPUTER SOFTWARE FOR THE TAX AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY TH SUM OF TWENTY -EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS. 80922 -18 OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, OF INFOSOL, INC. FOR AND UTILITY OFFICES AND E CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE AND N01100 ($28,000.00) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for sealed competitive proposals for computer software for the Tax and Utility Billing Offices to be received Friday, June 10, 1988; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the proposal would be received was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all proposals were opened as per published notice, and following review of the proposals, the proposal most advantageous to the City by a responsible offeror was determined; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the proposal of Infosol, Inc. for computer software for the Tax and Utility Billing Offices for the sum of TWENTY -EIGHT THOUSAND AND N01100 ($28,000.00) DOLLARS, as the most advantageous proposal to the City of Baytown by a responsible offeror, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
