ORDINANCE NO. 5075
® AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF THE MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT FOR THE CITY HALL TELEPHONE SYSTEM WITH INTER -
TEL, INC.; PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THREE THOUSAND
NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY AND N01100 ($3,980.00) DOLLARS FOR
SUCH MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
® EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS, the maintenance agreement with Inter -Tel, Inc. for
the City Hall telephone system provides that it may be extended
for an additional one -year period upon mutual consent of the
parties to the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends an extension of
this maintenance agreement with Inter -Tel, Inc. for one -year,
said extension to end July 31, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Inter -Tel, Inc. has agreed to the extension of said
maintenance agreement; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
® Section 1: That the City Council, City of Baytown, Texas,
hereby authorizes the extension for the maintenance agreement for
the City Hall telephone system with Inter -Tel, Inc.
Section 2: That payment to Inter -Tel, Inc. of THREE
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY AND N01100 ($3,980.00) DOLLARS as
consideration for the extension of the above described
maintenance agreement is hereby authorized.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown, this the 11th day of August,
1988.
