Ordinance No. 4,903E, I❑ El �1 I 1], 80114 -12 ORDINANCE NO. 4903 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FACTORY SALES AND MARTIN'S UNIFORM FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE, FIRE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE UNIFORMS, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF THIRTY -FOUR THOUSAND SEVENTY -EIGHT & N01100 ($34,078.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of police, fire and emergency medical service uniforms to be received January 11, 1988; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., January 11, 1988, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Factory Sales for the purchase of Items No. 5, 8 and 17, emergency medical service uniforms, for the sum of ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN AND N01100 ($1,917.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Martin Uniform for the purchase of Items No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16, police and fire uniforms, for the sum of THIRTY -TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY -ONE AND N01100 ($32,161.00), and authorizes payment thereof. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
