Ordinance No. 4,826Published: THE BAY'I'OWN SUN 70924 -22 Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1987 Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1987 ORDINANCE NO. 4826 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ART. VI, "ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND CHARGES," OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN BY AMENDING SECTION "PUBLIC RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS; FEE SCHEDULE FOR COPIES," BY ADDING SUBSECTION (g), "FEE FOR ISSUANCE OF TAX CERTIFICATES ;" PROVIDING A REVEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE MATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That Section 2 -120 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows: (a) Police accident reports (b) Municipal court records, to include judgments and com- plaints (c) Minutes of the city council meetings and minutes of ad- ministrative hoards or com- missions of the city (d) Copies of resolutions, ordi- nances, and other legal doc- uments and records (e) Certified copies of birth certificates Initial certified copies of death certificates Each additional copy in a single request $3.00 each $3.00 each $0.25 per page ($1.00 minimum charge for each set of minutes) $0.2 -5 per page ($1.00 mini- mum charge for each resolu- tion, ordinance or document $5.00 $5.00 $2. 00 Each search of the files where a certificte of birth or death is not found or a certified copy is not made $5.00 (4) Duplicate originals or certi- fied copy of a release given by the city :25.00 C L E c (g) Certificate showing the amount �~ of delinquent taxes, penalties and interest due the city on a property according to the city's current tax records $10.()0 per certificate per �~ property Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 3: If any provisions, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
