Ordinance No. 4,79370827 -8 ORDINANCE NO. 4793 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF OXFORD CHEMICAL, ALL- STATE CHEMICAL AND HUNTER CHEMICAL FOR THE ANNUAL CHEMICAL CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY -NINE AND 40/100 ($8,949.40) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the annual chemical contract to be received July 15, 1987; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 1987, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Oxford Chemical for Item No. 1 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY -TWO AND 25/100 ($2,962.25) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of All -State Chemical for Item No. 2 and 5 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY -FOUR AND 50/100 ($2,844.50) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Hunter Chemical for Item No. 3 and 4 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY -TWO AND 65/100 ($3,142.65) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
