Ordinance No. 4,748Ll 70709 -2 ORDINANCE NO. 4748 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF VITEL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF PHONE SYSTEM AT THE NEW FIRE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND EIGHTY -FOUR AND 10 /100 ($13,084.10) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for sealed competitive proposals for the installation of phone system at the new fire administration building to be received April 29, 1987; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the proposal would be received was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all proposals were opened as per published notice, and following review of the proposals, the proposal most advantageous to the City by a responsible offeror was determined; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the proposal of Vitel for the installation of phone system at the new fire administration building for the sum of THIRTEEN THOUSAND EIGHTY -FOUR AND 10 /100 ($13,084.10) DOLLARS, as the most advantageous proposal to the City of Baytown by a responsible offeror, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: from and after Baytown. INTRODUCED, City Council 'of 1987.
