ORDINANCE NO. 4730
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TEXAS ALUMINUM
INDUSTRIES FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF FIRE STATION WINDOWS
AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF
THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND EIGHT AND 44/100 ($3,008.44)
DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did
authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to
advertise for bids for the replacement of fire station windows to
be received May 20, 1987; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when
and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the
provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown;
and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall
at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 1987, as per published notice to
bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown
hereby accepts the bid of Texas Aluminum Industries for the
replacement of fire station windows for the sum of THREE THOUSAND
EIGHT AND 44/100 ($3,008.44) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment
thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown, this the 28th day of May,
1987.
