Ordinance No. 4,71370514 -3 ORDINANCE NO. 4713 ® AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RAY BRANCH AND ASSOCIATES, LEAVIN'S AWARDS, AND BAYTOWN TROPHY AND ENGRAVING FOR THE ANNUAL SERVICE AWARD CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTY -TWO AND 95/100 ($3,632.95) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the annual service award contract to be received April 21, 1987; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2 :00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 1987, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Ray Branch and Associates for Item Nos. 1 and 2 of the annual service award contract for the sum of NINE HUNDRED SIX AND 60/100 ($906.60) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Leavin's Awards for Item Nos. 3 and 4 of the annual service award contract for the sum of ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY -ONE AND 35/100 ($1,971.35) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Baytown Trophy and Engraving for Item No. 5 and 6 of the annual service award contract for the sum of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY -FIVE AND N01100 ($755.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. .
