Ordinance No. 4,60761211 -7 ORDINANCE NO. 4607 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHITE SUPPLY COMPANY AND SHERWIN WILLIAMS 7702 FOR THE ANNUAL MASONRY, LUMBER, PAINT, AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF TWENTY -TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY AND 05/100 ($22,730.05) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the annual masonry, lumber, paint, and construction material contract to be received November 25, 1986; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2 :00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 1986, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TEXAS: Section 1: That hereby accepts the bi, and 4 of the annual material contract for FIFTY -THREE AND 05/100 payment thereof. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, the City Council of the City of Baytown 3 of White Supply Company for Items No. 1 masonry, lumber, paint, and construction the sum of TWENTY THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED ($20,453.05) DOLLARS, and authorizes Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Sherwin Williams 7702 for Item No. 3 of the annual masonry, lumber, paint, and construction material contract for the sum of TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY -SEVEN AND N01100 ($2,277.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
