Ordinance No. 4,56561007 -8 ORDINANCE NO. 4565 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE SID OF OXFORD CHEMICAL, HUNTER CHEMICAL, ALLSTATE CHEMICAL, AND MORSE WHOLESALE FOR THE ANNUAL CHEMICAL CONTRACT; AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF TWENTY -NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FORTY -FIVE AND 70/100 ($29,645.70) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the Annual Chemical Contract to be received August 21, 1586; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown, and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 1986, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Oxford Chemical for Item No. 1 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of FIVE THOUSAND EIGHTY -TWO AND 25/100 ($5,082.25) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Morse Wholesale for Item No. 2 and Item No. 6 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY -EIGHT AND 30/100 ($18,888.30) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Hunter Chemical for Items No. 3 and 4 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY -TWO AND 65/100 ($3,142.65) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 4: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Allstate Chemical for Item No. 5 of the annual chemical contract for the sum of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY -TWO AND 50/100 ($2,532.50) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
