ORDINANCE NO. 4512
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN, ACCEPTING THE STREET EASEMENT DEDICATION BY
LEROY B. WALKER; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE SAID
DEDICATION WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF HARRIS COUNTY,
TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City of Baytown formally accepts the dedication of a
street easement from LEROY B. WALKER, being the owner of the property, said
property being described and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes as
follows:
BEING 0.368 acres out of the J. W. Singleton Survey, Abstract 407,
Harris County, Texas, and also being out of the Northwest corner of an
11.00 acre tract described in deed of conveyance from Fred C. Dittman
Jr., to Leroy Walker and recorded in clerks file number F563408 Harris
County Real Property Records, Harris County, Texas, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
REGINNING at a 1/2 inch iron rod found for the Northwest corner of
the said 11.00 acre tract, the Northwest corner of the herein described
tract and the Northeast corner of Wye Drive as now dedicated said
point being called N 80' 57' 08" E 511.27 feet from the East
right -of -way line of North Main Street.
THENCE N 80' 57' 08" E along the Walker North line at 270.OB feet
pass a 1/2 inch rod and the Southwest corner of the Baytown Police
Association 2.137 acre tract, a total distance in all of 320.28 feet to a
1/2 inch iron rod found for the Northeast corner of the herein
described tract.
THENCE S 9' 02' 52" E 50.0 feet to a 1/2 inch iron rod set for the
Southeast corner of the herein described tract.
THENCE S 80' 57' 08" W parallel with the Walker North line at 180.18
feet pass a 1/2 inch iron rod found for an interior corner, a total
distance in all of 320.28 feet to the Southeast corner of Wye Drive
right -of -way as now dedicated, the Southwest corner of the herein
described tract, and a 1/2 inch iron rod found for corner.
THENCE N 9' 02' 52" W 50.0 feet to the Place of Beginning containing
in all 16,014 square feet or 0.368 acres more or less.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file the street easement
dedication with the County Clerk of Harris County, Texas.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 14th day of August, 1986.
