ORDINANCE NO. 4488
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF JOSEPH AND
LANGE, INC. AS TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS TO
ANALYZE, DESIGN AND RECOMMEND THE TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR
THE NEW FIRE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF THREE
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO /100 ($3,500,00) DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the
Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for sealed competitive
proposals for telecommunications consultants to analyze, design and recommend the
telephone system for the new fire administration building to be received June 16,
1986; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the
contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of TEX. REV. CIV.
STAT., art. 2368a(c) and the Charter of the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened on said date and reviewed to determine the
proposal most advantageous to the City; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the
proposal of Joseph and Lange, Inc. as telecommunications consultants to analyze,
design and recommend the telephone system for the new Fire Administration building
for the sum of THREE: THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NU /100 ($3,500.00)
DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 26th day of June, 1986.
