ORDINANCE NO. 4471
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HOUSTON SERVICE
INDUSTRIES FOR THE REPAIR OF A HOFFMAN BLOWER AND
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE
SUM OF THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY -NINE AND NO /26
($3,169.26) DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the
Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the repair
of a Hoffman Blower to be received May 28, 1986; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the
contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the
Charter of the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, May 28, 1986, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the
bid of Houston Service Industries for the repair of a Hoffman Blower for the sum
of THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY -NINE AND 26/100 ($37169.26)
DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSEL] by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 12th day of June, 1986.
