Ordinance No. 4,262Published In: THE BAYTOLJN SUN 50912 -16 Monday, September 16, 1985 Tuesday, September 17, 1985 ORDINANCE NO. 4262 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTO WN, TEXAS, REPEALING THE DESIGNATION OF PORTIONS OF WEST DEFEE AVENUE AND NORTH GAILLARD STREET AS A FIFTEEN MINUTE TIME LIMIT PARKING ZONE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That pursuant to the provisions of Section 18 -52 of the Code of Urdinances, the following portions of West Defee Avenue and North Gaillard Street shall no longer constitute a fifteen minute time limit parking zone and is hereby repealed: The north and south side of West Defee Avenue between North Ashbel Street and North Gaillard Street The east and west side of North Gaillard Street between West Sterling Avenue and West Defee Avenue. Section 2: The Director of Planning and Traffic is authorized and directed to cause the removal of the signs at the above described location. Section 3: if any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
