ORDINANCE NO. 4170
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF H. B. HAMILTON
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR CAULKING AND WATERPROOFING THE
EXTERIOR OF CITY HALL AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY
THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF NINE THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED THIRTY -EIGHT AND NO /100 ($9,438.00) DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the
Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for caulking
and waterproofing the exterior of City Hall to be received May 23, 1985; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the
contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the
Charter of the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2:00 p.m.,
Thursday, May 23, 1985, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the
bid of H. B. Hamilton Construction Company for caulking and waterproofing the
exterior of City Hall for the sum of NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
THIRTY -EIGHT AND NO/100 ($9,438.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 13th day of June, 1985.
