ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ®AYTOWN, said: agreement for the registration, recruitment and coordination of senior volunteer community service. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes Section 2: The City Council hereby authorizes payment of THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY -SIX AND NO /100 ($3,186.00) DOLLARS to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for the registration, recruitment and coordination of senior volunteer community service. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown. Payments shall be made on December 31st, March 31st, June 30th, and September 30th. IV In performance of the services agreed to herein, the Program Applicant agrees to observe and strictly comply with all the terms, conditions, rules, and regulations of all applicable federal, state, and city statutes. V Program Applicant agrees to furnish the City with a copy of its 1985 annual budget. A written annual report shall be submitted to the City Manager which shall include the year's activities. VI It is expressly agreed and understood by all parties hereto that the Program Applicant is an independent contractor in its relationship to the City of Baytown. Nothing herein contained at any time or in any manner shall be construed to effect an • agreement of partnership or joint venture or render any party hereto the employer or master of any other party and /or its employees, agents or representatives.
