AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF F79fR %-jENITIF'1C FOR
THE PURCHASE OF A TECATOR DIGESTION SYSTEM AND
DISTILLATION UNIT AND AUTHORIZM THE PAYMENT 13Y THE
CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED
FIVE AND NO /100 ($5,105.00) DOLLARS.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the
Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise fo-- bids for the
purchase of a tecator digestion system and distillation unit to be received June 28,
1984; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the
contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the
Charter of the City of Baytown, and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hal" at 2:00 p.m.,
Thursday, June 28, 1984, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts tt a
bid of Fisher Scientific for the purchase of a tecator digestion system and
distillation unit for the sum of FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIVE AND NO /100
($5,105.00) DOLLARS, and authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown this the 28th day of June, 1YU4.
