" Section 1: On the 12th day of July, 1964, at 7:00 o'clock p.m and at 7:15
O'clock pm:, in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of Baytown,. Texas, the

City. Council>:will hold public hearings giving all interested parties the right to
;r appear and, he heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Baytown, Texas, of
r the property described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: In compliance with TEX. REV. CIV. STAT. art. 970a, as artnended,
the Planning Department is hereby directed to prepare a service plan that provides
s,
for the extension of municipal service into the area described in Exhibit "A ".
Section 3: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and
directed to cause notice of each public hearing to be published once in the
newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the above described territory
not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of
each public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter
160, Acts of the 58th legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled at 970a Vernon's
Texas Civil Statues, as amended).
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 28th day of June, 1984.

ANNEXATION FIELD NOTES FOR
HL&P R -O -W, CEOARTRACE APARTMENTS. & WILBURN PROPERTY
BEING a tract or parcel of land containing 41.338 acres and lying in the
Harvey Whiting Survey, Abstract No. 840, Harris County, Texas and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING at a 2" I.P. at the Northwest corner of Garth and Baker
Roads;
THENCE, North 890 42' 46" West along the North right -of -way line of
Baker Road for a distance of 435.05 feet to the Point of Beginning;
• THENCE, South 00° 17' 14" West along a line that is perpendicular to
Baker Road for a distance of 109.22 feet to a point on the South right -
of -way line of Baker Road;

THENCE, in a northwesterly direction with a curve to the right along the
South right -of -way line of Baker Road having a radius of 13,810.75 feet,
a curvilinear distance of 504.64 feet, a delta of 02° 05' 37" and a
chord bearing of N 880 39' 58" W to a point for a corner, said corner
being the intersection of the South right -of -way line of Baker Road and
West right -of -way line of the HL &P property;
THENCE, North 000 17' 14" East along a line that is perpendicular to
Baker Road for a distance of 100.00 feet to a point on the North right -
of -way line of Baker Road, said point being 989.58 feet from the afore-
mentioned 2" I.P.;
THENCE, North 000 28' 45" West along the HL &P 150 foot wide West right -
of -way line for a distance of 472.99 feet;
THENCE, North 090 48' 45" West along the HL&P 150 foot wide West right -
of -way line for a distance of 1,724.89 feet to a point for a corner,
said corner being the intersection with the South right -of -way line of
the 130 foot wide Texas Eastern Pipeline Corridor;
THENCE, North 74° 23' 54" East along the South right -of -way line of the
Texas Eastern Transmission Pipeline Corridor for a distance of 1,085.32
feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE, in a southwesterly direction with a curve to the left along the
existing City Limit line that is 245 feet West of and parallel to the

is 245 feet West of and parallel to the Garth Road West right -of -way
line for a distance of 905.42 feet to a point for a corner, said corner
