Section 13 That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby
declares that an emergency situation existed_
Section 2t That payment to Layne - Western Company of the sum of
EIGHTEEN THOUSA"E) SIX HUIVOREOP THIRTY AIVG 47 /100 ($98,630_47) UC3LLARS
as payment for the repair work to the .lames Street water well is hereby
authorized.
Section 3a This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
