AN ORDINANCE AIrE114DI1NG ORDINANCE NO. 3669. TO CORRECT
ERRORS CONTAINED THEREIN; CONTAINING A REPEALING
CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF INCONSISTENT
PROVISIONS;; AND PROVKMNG FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF

WHEREAS, on August 11, 1983, the City Council of the City of Baytown
passed Ordinance No. 3662, which provided for the assessment of property owners
adjoining the improvements to Rollingbrook Drive; and
WHEREAS, it has been discovered that a portion of the frontage has been
assessed to two adjoining properties due to a mathematical error, and
WHEREAS, it necessary to amend Ordinance No. 3662 in order to correct this
assessment error, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF BAyTO1NN4
TEXAS:
Section, 1: That Ordinance No. 3662 is amended by the adoption of a new
assessment roll for the south side of Rollingbrook Drive, with the correction being
made to parcel number 9. The corrected assessment roll is attached heretc as
Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: The assessment for parcel number 9 as contained in Ordinance
No. 3662 is hereby repealed as to the extent it is in excess of the amount shown on
the attached Exhibit "A."
Section 3: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph,
sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any
person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of
this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to
this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
